Privacy Policy for OmniConvert

This Privacy Policy describes how OmniConvert ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use our unit conversion application.

Summary

OmniConvert is designed to work fully offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from the App itself. The only data collection that occurs is handled by third-party services we use for advertising and processing in-app purchases, as described below.

Information We Collect

We do not directly collect any personal information. However, the App integrates the following third-party services, which may collect data on their own behalf:

Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general location (derived from IP), device information, and ad interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads — including personalized ads where permitted.

You can review how Google handles this data in the Google Ads Privacy & Terms. Depending on your device and region, you may be able to limit ad tracking through your device's system settings (e.g. "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).

In-App Purchases

The App offers a yearly subscription (€3.99/year) and a lifetime purchase (€5.99) to unlock premium features. These purchases are processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details (such as card numbers) — this information is handled directly by Google Play in accordance with the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

We may receive basic, non-financial purchase status information (e.g. whether a subscription is active) solely to unlock the premium features you've paid for on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

Aside from what is described above, the App:

Does not require account creation or login
Does not collect your name, email address, or contact information
Does not access your contacts, photos, location, or other device data
Does not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
Does not share any data with third parties beyond the advertising and billing services described above

All conversion functionality operates locally on your device and does not require an internet connection.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If AdMob personalized ads are enabled, please note Google's own policies regarding child-directed treatment under services like Google Play's Families program, if applicable.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data directly, we do not retain any user data on our own servers. Any data collected by Google (via AdMob or Play Billing) is retained according to Google's own privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
